The project is implemented with the effective cooperation of NORDBEANS s.r.o. and TU in Liberec

The presented project has the following fundamental goals:

Objective 1: Develop a multi-purpose automated filling machine with grinding function and production software with a capacity of 1000 capsules/hour (operating unit). Fully verify the developed device in real operation and prepare for transfer into practice.

Objective 2: Research and development of a fully biodegradable material for the production of capsules to the stage of utility model.

The stated goals will be translated into practice thanks to the three main outputs of the project:

1 x functional sample (Gfunk) – Pilot unit of a multi-purpose automated filling device with production software with a capacity of 500 capsules/hour. – achievement of the result: 10/2023

1 x useful bag (Fužit) – Biodegradable material containing a natural component intended for home composting – achievement of the result: 10/24

1 x prototype (Gprot) – Operating unit of a multi-purpose automated filling device with production software with a capacity of 1000 capsules/hour – achievement of the result: 10/2024

The goals of the presented project are fully in line with the corporate development strategy of Entry Engineering to direct its own development activities in the area of high-quality products and innovative technologies with high added value. Diversification of the portfolio with a new product aimed at the food industry, i.e. an area outside of automotive, which is now dominant for Entry Engineering, will allow the company to expand into new markets, both domestically and abroad, and also gain new business and professional contacts, new experience and opportunities to continue to develop this direction successfully. Entry Engineering is environmentally friendly and wants to reflect this attitude in its products. For this reason, one of the goals of the submitted project is the development of a fully biodegradable polymer material that would be used for the production of disposable capsules, and which would ultimately contribute to limiting the production of disposable plastic packaging materials.
